Door County Photo Workshop

October 16-19 2018

You love to photograph scenic places but your pictures don't always turn out like you thought they would. You’re a beginner or you have dabbled in photography enough to understand basics, or you may already have a good handle on functionality and technique. Regardless of where you stand, there is always room for growth.

Please join national award-winning photographer Mike Murray for the 2018 Door County photography workshop!

          About the Workshop

  • Our Door County photography workshop is learning by doing, the best way to learn photography.
  • With small groups and two leaders of the workshop there is close one on one individual interaction for all your questions.
  •  Small group size also ensures a peaceful nature experience for everyone.
  • No overly technical photographic knowledge is required. That is why you are coming to our workshop. Our approach to photography is more about the creative process and does not focus on the technical details of cameras or on software gimmicks. This simple approach makes these workshops especially suited for beginners and amateurs.

"I had a lot of fun at the Door County Workshop and was amazed to find out how much I had forgotten over the years.  Mike was an overflowing wealth of knowledge and was excited to share his expertise and it didn't end when the workshop was over.  Mike's feedback and tips after the workshop have been so helpful.  Mike's easy-going style and commitment to teaching helped me renew my creative potential and passion for photography.  Mike was even willing to take a small group of us out for an unplanned lesson in night photography! I highly recommend Mike to anyone who is starting out in photography or wanting to take their skills to the next level".

"I attended the 'Fall 2016 Workshop' in Door County WI. Mike and Cameron were extremely helpful in assisting me in improving my photography skills.  We explored many beautiful locations, several that would have not been found on my own  Early morning and late evening shoots made for some beautiful photos.  Afternoon critiques and Q & A were very helpful.  The group was small and made for lots of interaction and personal instruction.  My wife and dog were welcomed to join the group whenever they wished.  We are looking forward to attending workshops in the future.  Great Job!"
